At Security Scotland, we believe our people are our key asset. That’s why last week our stadium operations team went through the UEFA Steward Training Course.
Introduced by UEFA last year, the course is designed to enhance the knowledge, quality and consistency of match day stewards right across Europe.
The course was rolled out to the 55 national association members with the vision the training would be cascaded to their countries respective safety officers and match day stewarding partners with the end product being consistent steward training across Europe.
An intense day was spent in our Glasgow office working through the content and final assessment, which all colleagues passed.
Feedback has been positive and Managing Director, James Glackin was pleased that the senior team got the chance to road test the course, which will now be rolled out to all match day colleagues.
Huge congratulations to our client, European Tour who won the “Best Sporting Event” Award for the Aberdeen Investments Scottish Open 2018 at the Thistle Awards 2018/19 last night at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre.
Security Scotland Managing Director, James Glackin commented “this was a great event for our staff to be involved in and for the event to be recognised with such a prestigious award is fantastic”
