Our Senior Management
Our group Managing Director is a well respected figure within the Scottish business community with over thirty years of operational experience in the licensed trade.
Initially working in the entertainment industry Eddie was responsible for managing many high profile venues, such as the Apollo in Glasgow, and was the commercial manager for a number of Celtic and Rangers players. He has held senior management positions with companies including Scottish and Newcastle Breweries, Stakis plc and Carnegies Leisure.
After having led Scotland’s largest independent security company Eddie decided to form two new companies, Security Scotland Ltd and Cleaning Scotland Ltd, which have both experienced continual growth, year on year.
He wrote the original training programme for stewards for Glasgow City Council and has been a member of the Glasgow City Centre Home Safe Group, Crimestoppers and the Scottish Executive Expert Group on Licensing amongst others.
Managing Director, James began working in the licensed trade security industry aged eighteen. His unparalleled understanding of clients’ requirements led to his rapid increase in responsibilities and status. He maintains a philosophy of delivering a bespoke service providing value for money and outstanding quality.
Director, Mark began his career working in the security sector for large shopping centres in the West of Scotland. His main responsibilities include day to day oversight of the retail and manned guarding operations of Security Scotland Ltd. Conducting regular site visits, Mark builds strong client relationships through his front-line personal touch approach.
Chris, our Operations Director, has worked in the leisure and security industry for over twenty years. He has exceptional experience of delivering “best in class” event security and safety services, from music festivals to sporting events. At the Ryder Cup 2014 he was the Silver Security Commander and was heavily involved in security at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. Based in event control rooms as the Head of Security for numerous high profile events Chris was responsible for an industry first in 2011 when he delivered the first SPL police free fixture at Motherwell v Inverness Caley Thistle.
Operations Support Manager, Fabio has over fifteen years of experience in Public Safety and Security. His work ethic, attention to detail and close working relationships with clients derives from his past experience of military service and hospitality. Currently supporting our Events Division he has experience in Control Room to Ground Operations at well known large-scale Music Festivals, Concerts, Public Transport Networks, Stadium based and Outdoor Sporting events.
Fabio currently holds qualifications in NEBOSH, Security Management and Consulting, Pit Barrier Safety, Trainer qualifications for First Aid, Conflict Management, Safe Restraint Techniques, Physical Intervention and Security Screening. He is currently working towards achieving an MSc degree in International Security & Risk Management and a Level 4 in Spectator Safety Management.
He also has a well-deserved recognition of an MSyl title from the Security Institute – an international Chartered organisation for Security Professionals based on validation of his experience, training, qualifications and other research contributions to the public safety and security industry.
